II Corinthians 12:7b-10
Give You Glory
You’re My God (I Lift You Up)
Your Love, Oh Lord
The Wonderful Cross
Lead Me to the Cross
Trading My Sorrows
Basic gist:
God’s reassurance in response to Paul’s pleading with God to take away the “thorn in the flesh” alongside Jesus’ response to Mary and Martha’s disappointment and anger at Him not being present to save the life of Lazarus shows us that, even though He is powerful enough and cares enough, God cannot, and will not, always make our lives perfect. It is when we are at our weakest, though, that His strength becomes perfect and we should seek to cling to Him.
